Holland has a famous Liszt competition.
And doesn't Liszt sell ?
Chopins 2 conertos do not even match Mendelssohns...
His name. Oh yes.. Chopin.
And the Beethoven concours...

And Bozhanov turned the Chopin upside down by letting the jury change the rules to rule him out ...
First pianist ever heard playing like Michelangeli said an old lady, assisting the Chopin for 30 years...
And where is Bozhanov now.
Luckily Dubargue had more chance.
Chopin competition.
Deutsche Gramophone jumps on the winner.
Stupids. For a 1 composer specialist.
And I don't even like Chopin. He stays a salon composer.

Let those winners do the final week of the Queen Elisabeth and they might faint...
Before they even had to play a sonata, the new composed concerto, and their own chosen.
Sadly, the sonata felt away.
One contender even managed to play the compulsory concerto, learned in 1 week, by memory.
Let the Chopins do it...

The big labels should better start taking the Master competition winners.
Lang as ambassador for the Leeds is a joke of course. He gave a masterclass and looked more in the audience than to his pupil.

Chopin ... Well. Let them have him.

Take my case as an example: op 50 no. 3? Mechanically approachable.

SINCE WHEN HAS OP. 50 #3 BEEN MECHANICALLY APPROACHABLE
PERHAPS I'M GETTING TOO VINTAGE

It isn't? Well since you're more advanced than me, you're probably more attentive to it than I am. Keep in mind it's just the opinion of of an amateur. : ] I do however think it's still a very difficult piece to play.
