I've been trying to find out if there is any current composer that has these qualities:
-Not Minimalistic
-Not New age
-Not popish sounding or written for a movie
-Not any more dissonant than the Liszt Piano Sonata
I assume that I just don't know where to look, but I haven't been able to find one so far.
