"No; Fantasy, op. 49"
there is a work, called "Fantasy," which Chopin wrote as his op. 49.......

JK I didn't need to explain it like that... but I think the punctuation didn't make that much sense ::)

Oh I see. Prelude 17 is a little better than the fantasy IMO.  :)

Hey we just started a new page! Cool!

It would make more sense using the original punctuation ::) Fantasy Op. 49 is long, boring, and ugly, even more so than the 4th Ballade. However, it IS better than the 2nd Ballade, though.

if you want long, check out beethoven's hammerklavier or Op.120 variations.

and noooooo, fantasy Op.49 is op

When I meant long, I meant as in how long it feels to listen to it in a live concert ;D For example, IMHO the complete Harmonies Religieuses et Poetiques would be much more pleasurable to listen to than the pieces you just listed ::)

true for instance Beethoven's Sonatas and Chopin's Scherzos and Ballades feel short, but Kabelvsky's Op.27/35 set feels long, even though each piece is like 1 minute

yeah ok I'm sorry

if you ever get dumped after winter formal though, you may find yourself locked in a room listening to it all day... it captures a very specific mood

Before you get dumped, you have to be dating.

Which means, according to kypiano, you must not be Asian.
