Video - Czerny op. 740 no. 10
on: May 14, 2015, 10:32:19 PM
Here is my video.  I would like suggestions and help to improve my performance.  There is a few mistakes since I tried to play it at a faster tempo.  Also my hand gets fatigued sometimes if I practice it to much.

Pretty good ! I can imagine this being tiring after a while. One certainly should not overdo practicing this kind of piece. For difficult stuff I find that alternating fast and slow practice really helps.
I did not hear all too many mistakes.

I liked it:-)
Since you are asking for advice - to me your RH looks a little tense like it if was overcoming resistance to press the keys down. You might want to pay more attention to playing it with less tension. I know it is easy to say but my suggestion would be to practice it slowly with relaxed, flexible wrists.
And hold your wrists higher. I would also pay attention to slightly adjusting hand position to played thirds and not freezing the hand. It will not be visible when you later play faster, but it will give you more relaxed playing.
Once I saw a nice video on YT by Josh Wright where he was giving good practice tips for double thirds. I can't find it right now.

On the other hand, why do you want to perfect it? It is just an etude. You played it well. If you want to play it up to tempo, then you will need to perfect your technique, but other than that...
If I were you I would play new etudes now (whatever technique aspects you need to work on), and then, in several months, come back to play another double thirds etude/piece and would perfect my technique then. It may even come more naturally then.
