Someone needs to fix that I.M.S.L.P. page because - at least as of this moment - it has misspelled "Wilhelm Backhaus" as "Wilhelm Bachaus".

Jonas was the man. I have been collecting his work for a couple years ( and he was very well connected to other famous pianists and composers).

I scanned his concert etude a whole back and a couple homages to Scarlatti as well as a nocturne and they are On my to do list

This tome is indeed a valuable resource from a highly capable virtuoso composer and pedagogue

Copyright on these volumes is a bit of a nightmare. Whilst Jonas himself died in 1943, the books are a collection of bits by other contributors. The last of these to die (Backhaus) did so in 1960. So, copyright finally expires for the whole thing in 2020, though individual excerpts, and possibly whole volumes, do so earlier.

Dover have republished the first two volumes.
