needing an International Klein Blue hex code
on: May 29, 2015, 05:43:52 AM
Hi Everyone,
I have been reading up a bit on International Klein Blue. It seems that an attempt has been made to arrive at an accurate hex code for it.
Here is the Wikipedia article on International Klein Blue, and a page with a suggested hex code.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Klein_Blue
https://www.colourlovers.com/color/002EA7/yves_klein_blue
I've done some testing with the Wikipedia image, and found that though the second link suggests 002EA7, the codes I am finding for the sections of the image include such ones as 2A1EC1, 2023C7, et c., and none which begin with 00.
Maybe someone here who is artistically minded and knows a bit more about these subjects can suggest a solid and also a better code to than 002EA7. Maybe because of the distortive and abstracting aspects of the digitization of colour, an accurate code is impossible?
Mvh,
Michael
