Any Ohioans in the House?

Tell me about your great state. I'll be moving there in August from California for school (to Columbus, specifically).

How's that?
Even lists the phone numbers for the US House.
You weren't specific about whether you mention the US House or Ohio House.

I'm seventy miles over the line from Cincinnati. I have been there several times to buy used organs, and the selection of used pianos is good, too.
There are good train museums in Cincinnati and a nice zoo. In Dayton there is a world class aircraft museum run by the Air Force.
In Colombus there is a nice sausage restaurant in the south end, Schmitts? buy the sampler, it is worth the premium if you are hungry. On Thanksgiving weekend, there is a great ballroom dance competition in Colombus. At least it looks great on PBS television, the one hour version. Lots of healthy people doing rhythmic movements.
Ohio has great non-interstate highways, with synchronized traffic lights. Indiana by contrast, tunes the lights to stop you at every one, for a better shopping experience. Not shopping?- you should be, how will the state make any money if you don't? One more reason I go to Colombus or Dayton, and not Indi, for pleasure. Watch the Ohio red lights, violators are photographed in some areas.
In Norwalk OH they have a great dragstrip, with special weekends devoted to various brands. I go sometimes on Ford weekend. Usually no turbo vacuum cleaners run, unlike Indianapolis again which is all turbo vacuum cleaner cars. The Indi 500 would be ear-splitting, if I acually went.
Ohio has good train service. Ride the Cardinal over into New River gorge WV, it is worth the trip to see the view.
Cleveland used to have a great orchestra, but George Szell is dead. I haven't heard any great recordings from them since. Cincinnati Pops orchestra used to be famous, I hope somebody as enthusiastic replaced Eric Kunzel they lost a coupleof years ago.

I've been to Cinci a few times. The view from the top of Mount Echo Park at night is wonderful. It is a very appealing city.
