I tried Facebook's Tetris Battle and it's

1. horrific on the eyes
2. completely artifical - it looks like you're in live contest with someone else when really your opponent is just a replay of someone else's playing
3. too slow at leveling up - I won my first 18 "matches" and it is not getting any harder. It's pretty obvious the game only exists to string people along forever to watch ads or pay money.

But I do play regular Tetris on NES and am pretty good.

Real tetris is best tetris. Screw Facebook.

Tétras is much better, although you'd need a string quartet to play that, of course...

Pardon?

I presume the first bit to mean "know your subject" which, in this instance, I do, at least insofar as is necessary in the particular context. The next bit seems to refer to me although, since your post is in any case a reply to mine, that might seem to be supererogatory. "u" could be any one of many things; "unchallenged", perhaps. "ff" is of course fortissimo, of which the score of Xenakis' Tetras undoubtedly has no shortage.

The specific purpose of the shorthand, however, is far less clear.

Never mind.

Best,

Alistair

I couldn't be bothered to waste my time doing so and, in any case, were I to open fire, I'd almost certainly miss; let someone else do it.

And you wouldn't know my face anyway, let alone what I might or might not want to do to it.

Anyway, my interpretation of the post concerned stands.

My point also stands.

Good night.

Best,

Alistair
