Can you tell the difference?
on: December 16, 2004, 08:40:31 PM
I spend most of my forum time on keyboard centered forums. There, Motif's Tritons, and Fantoms are the rage, the high end. Normally, they say the Piano sounds are the most important, and many times the main reason they buy their "workstations"
I read Keyboard Magazine, EQ, and SOS. These and my regular forum habits have convinced me that most of todays popular music (be it Jazz, R&B, Hip Hop ....) use sampled piano's instead of real pianos. do you listen to todays tunes, and think man that riff would have sounded better on a real paino?
