The Rubinstein 4th.

Arthur. But I kind of like Rubinstein's Melodie in F and his Variations on Yankee Doodle. ::)

Are you given a list and you can only play from those? (If so, oh dear - how positively dreadful)

If you have free reign and you can hanike any if those listed
I would consider

That technique........................................................................................
I wonder if you can be genetically modified yet to have a 2 octave handspan :-[

But that Catoire Concerto is so PRETTY! It is just too unfortunate that if I played that, the judges would be all squishy squishy at how I did not obey the rules.

Yes, one of the competitions gives you a list. And I know I'm either going to do the Mendelssohn Concerto or the Grieg Concerto there. Again, I have to clarify: I've never played those. The competitions are in 1-4 years. ::)

If I were Hamelin or someone who does a lot of underrated music (Ciccolini, maybe?), and if I had the technique to do them well ::), I'd do these concertos. But too bad they're "unorthodox" to play in competitions :'(

Szpilman- Concertino
Liapunov- Both?
Catoire- Op. 21 ;D
