What can u do after grade 8?

hi, im currently doing grade 8 practical......
and i wanted to know what you can do after ive passed the exam?
i know you can do a dipABRSM ...but is there anything else like going to a music college or something???

Well, I'm probably still going to be in college when you pass the exam.  I also probably won't do the dipABRSM.  For you, I'd probably recommend some grammar lessons.

You've had less than helpful replies, NewbyDavid.  That's probably because only you can answer this question.  The answer is, it depends what you want to do.  You can carry on learning piano and developing your repertoire without ever doing any more exams ever, if that's what you want.  You already know the diploma's an option.  Going to music college might be an option, but only if that's what you want to do with your life.  Most UK music colleges will expect a standard of at least distinction in grade 8, or higher, and will want you to have A level music or equivalent.  Check out their webpages to find out whether a) the courses sound like something you might want to spend several years of your life doing, and b) you have, or can acquire, the entry qualifications.
