WARNIG clip is from a relatively disturbing movie, song starts at about 1:25

a while ago someone here asked about the piano music used in the controversial film Saló. the post didn't really get any results other than identifying a chopin waltz and the songs that were already listed on the imdb page for the movie, which is an incomplete list btw. i really like the ominous dissonant song used here and unless this was just composed for the film i would guess it was something like Schoenberg or Alban Berg, someone suggested it could be Scriabin but i disagree.
its also possible that this song wasn't originally composed for piano since the movie also featured a bach organ pastorale arranged for accordion and some salon music that im not sure was made for piano.
it would be amazing if someone here could properly identify this cool song !!  :-*

I'm afraid we were never able to figure it out... Seems like an almost impossible task since it may be an arrangement or even something original by Morricone. It's definitely not Scriabin.

No, definitely not Scriabin. Sounds like a post-Busoni contrapuntist, Dallapiccola or someone maybe.
Instrumentalists are all wannabe singers. Discuss.

Yessss i found it!!!!! turns out it really was a song composed by Ennio Morricore specifically for the movie, its a great song in my opinion, it really captures the dark empty and loveless feeling of saló.
anyway here it is if anyone wants to listen, i wonder if i can find sheet music for this anywhere
