Vacation at last!!!!
on: December 18, 2004, 10:47:47 AM
I've had the most grueling trimester. New teacher, 10+ hour practice sessions and 3 hour chamber music rehearsals daily. New school. New repertoire. Finally, its vacation time, and I can take some time to post here. I'm so glad. At the same time I'm happy, I'm playing a lot better now than 4 months ago. Of course, I have 200 pages of new repertoire to get ready for the next trimester. Mainly this:
Arensky trio
Beethoven Clarinet trio
Debussy Images 1 and Thirds etude.
Bach Partita in G major and Prelude and fugue from WTC book 2 in A major.
Scriabin etudes op. 8 n 1 and 4.
5 Chopin etudes.
2 Liszt-Paganini etudes and 1 Trascendental.
Mozart concerto 9
Shostakovich Prelude and fuge in G and C major.
Liszt Ballade n 2
Brahms variations in D major.
I think there wont be a lot of difference between the vacations and the school trimester.

For a good laugh, check out my posts in the audition room, and tell me exactly how terrible they are
