Mozart - 12 Variations in C Major 'Ah vous dirai-je, Maman' K.265 (Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star). How would you rate the difficulty of this piece? Does it matter if a advanced pianist perform pieces that are this easy?

After hearing Katsaris playing Gelinek, i would have thought not.

This piece isn't easy. The theme is pretty easy (no durr), but once you get past it, there are 12 variations of sheer difficulty. This probably matches the level of Mozart and Beethoven's sonatas.
I made an account and hadn't used it in a year. Welcome back, kevon.
