Thalberg Fantasy on Rossini's Mosè in Egitto
on: August 19, 2015, 07:23:03 AM
The most notorious work by Liszt's rival Sigismund Thalberg. This piece was one of the two pieces Thalberg played at his infamous "piano duel" with Liszt. This link -  https://mldd.blogspot.co.uk/2012/04/sigismond-thalberg-200-years.html might be of biographical interest.

Live performance, last week.
