Has anyone heard of this instrument? I hadn't heard of it til just a week or two ago. I suppose it is halfway between a harpsichord and a fortepiano, as it actually throws little wood tangents at the strings instead of hammers. Its tone varies from a harpsichord, to a harp, to fortepiano like sounds using various stops. I thought it was pretty fascinating. And, Schobert is pretty good!
