You gave away the trick about 3/4 of the way through, revealing the paper wedged in between your wrists ;)

Ha ha, actually I hid a pencil behind my wrist during the opening, and when I crushed the piece of paper up, I smashed it on to the end of the pencil. Then, I closed my wrists and it pushed the paper up. You can see the pencil snap up about 1/2 of the way through. ha ha
