A Free Grand Piano? – Scammers Target Piano Enthusiasts

If you’re in the market for a piano, be cautious of a new scam that’s targeting music lovers, businesses, schools, and churches. Scammers are offering “free” pianos but with hidden fees that can add up to hundreds of dollars and, as you may have guessed, the piano will never be delivered. Read more

Here's a tiny gem from Scriabin which I recorded today. I hope you enjoy it.
Any feedback would be hugely appreciated.

...the tempo!!!! Pick up the pace!!!

Also I don't know if it's the recording or you, but the pedaling seems to get smudged in quite a few areas. Personally for this piece I would prefer a more clearer tone.

You're on track, but damn man, the tempo!!!

;D Thanks for that. As for the tempo, the Dover edition has a footnote which says that the autograph was marked "ondeggiante carezzando" which was then modified to vivace. And pretty much all editions have a metronome mark of something like 60-70 for the quarter note. But it is ridiculous to count in quarter notes here (because it is 2/2 with 5 eights in every half note)! So it would be half note at 30-35, so I wouldn't be far away. But the point is that the metronome marking is bullshit, not that it justifies my choice of tempo. So I just had to make a choice.

As for the pedal, guilty as charged: I was changing it with every bass note.  :o

Anyway, I've been banging my head against this score on and off for some years now; it's full of mysteries. Until just recently I arrived to some conclusions about it (maybe right or (more likely) wrong) and that's why I ventured to record it. So you may consider the recording an experiment.

Thanks a lot for listening and for your opinion, it'll surely be circling my head in my next practice sessions.
