what a joke. gold/precious metal is worthless in a complete anarchic economic collapse, it goes back to an example from an economics class i had. supply and deman dominates ... it goes to a bartering system. and what is in high demand is what becomes valuable. food/water, electric generators, fuel, weapons . if someone really wanted to prepare and be in as good a spot as can be, they would stockpile water, non perishable food, fuel, electric generators, and a means t protect oneself and ones property until a government and order can be put back in place. etc. these become the trade based standard in a complete crash scenarios. but these gloom and doom guys are funny to watch. i got a chuckle out of it and it made for a funny several minutes while I took an afternoon break.
