Beethoven Sonatina in G major
on: December 22, 2015, 05:40:26 AM
Please tell me he wrote it  . .  .! I tried a google search of this answer and it seemed to say well it was found when he was dead but part of his belongings so, it, well, is his, but maybe it is not.

What?

And yes, it matters to me whether he wrote it or not.

First the surprise with that Bach piece--and now this?

Couldn't find much of anything about it online. There is a very short Wikipedia article about the work here:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sonatina_in_G_major_(attributed_to_Beethoven)

In which it is stated that its authenticity is doubtful. But the article does not cite any sources, so the mystery persists.
