Repertoire almost chose...
on: December 31, 2015, 08:05:15 PM
Hey! we need here to choose the repertoire for the final exam by this: one baroque piece, one classical sonata, romantic piece, 20th century piece and an israeli piece as well. my repertoire is:

baroque- ?????
Classical sonata- Haydn Hob.XVI:49
Romantic- Rachmaninoff, op. 23 no. 7 in C minor
20th century- Prokofiev- 2 waltzes from Cinderella.
Israeli piece- Paul Ben Haim- nocturne. (I don't think it's recorded for YouTube though... it's about 3 minutes.)

I still haven't choosen the baroque piece. I think about a slow prelude and fugue by bach. (except of the nocturne I don't really have a slow piece) anyone have an idea for a prelude and fugue? thanks!

Antonio Soler's Sonata No.12 or No.84.

 I like NO.84. Also try No.43
84

43

Or try Frescobaldi 3 toccatas.

Beethoven Op 2/2
Chopin Op 20, maybe op 47/38
Debussy Etude 7
Grieg Op 16
Want to do:
Chopin Concerti 1 and 2
Beethoven Waldstein
Ravel Miroirs

Excuse me, sirs, but Soler is considered Rococco  ::)

And frescobaldi belongs to that hideous genre we label "Early Music"  ???
