Pictures At An Exhibition
on: December 26, 2004, 08:15:50 PM
Hi everybody!

I love Mussorgsky's masterpiece Pictures At An Exhibition and I would like to have all versions I can. I got this piece on the piano by Evgeny Kissin, Svjatoslav Richter, Vladimir Horowitz and William Kapell. Another great performance that I must have it?

Thanks in advanced!

also, i have a interesting version, but i don't know the pianist. anyway, very different from anything i've ever heard (there's things i like and things i hate).

That is almost as bad as asking a list of different recordings of the Liszt Sonata...  ;)

you may want to try:

Ohlsson
Katchen
Brendel
Berman
Wild
Jando
Weissenberg

Many many not so familiar names did it also.
