Which composer do you like??
Grade 8 pieces have varying difficulties so it's not easy to say what is harder than grade 8 but easier than Fantaisie Impromptu.

What grading system? The c sharp minor impromptu is nowhere near grade 8 abrsm, in my opinion.

The situation is like this: I am going to a very "academic" school. (Thanks mom!)
we cant study harder things cause of my schools academic programme, I said harder than grade
8( because My Level is there) and easier than Inpromptu( because that piece is very exhausting)
I like Chopin, Lizst, Rachmaninoff most.
And I am from Turkey. In Turkey, teachers and schools are only thinking University Exam
And You just cant do social activities. I am 9th grade and this year There are more Than 80
Exam this is crazy! Are there in Your countries the situation is same?

What is the piece for? Are you learning it for personal reasons? Or is it for an exam or audition?

Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

this is super groovy, and I would place it right smack in early G8 difficulty area, right along w/ some of the early advanced Bach, Mozart, Rachmaninoff and some impressionistic elements in the 2nd and third themes, good as both a general study work in prep for more or even to put it on a stage, it plays well enough to hold most folks interest both musical types and general non serious audience
