Moskowski F major op 72 6 vs Chopin op 25 12?. Which is more difficult???
on: February 13, 2016, 08:58:22 PM
Hi, right now I'm practicing the Chopin etude op 25 Ocean Etude and my teacher wants me to also play the Moskowski F major etude, he says they are on the same level of difficulty. I do not agree, I think Chopinīs etude is harder. Any opinions???

Omg I love and play both of those pieces! Those are pieces are both very difficult, but they each require different technique. 2512 is definitely more difficult, but if you can play the 72 6 at a professional level, you probably will be able to play the 2512. People underestimate 72 6. At a fast tempo (meaning finishing around 1:30 to 1:40 mins), I think it's really hard.
