Flight Of The Bumblebee?
on: February 17, 2016, 12:50:59 AM
Recently, I've started Flight Of The Bumblebee.
However, after a week of practice, I've only gotten to the third page, and I'm rather dissapointed.
I'm currently thirteen and I have no stress with homework or anything, and I get around one hour of practice per day. I'm level eight and about to move on to level nine in piano, so I don't see what's the problem. My fingers often just fail or spasm randomly when I'm playing Flight Of The Bumblebee, which is so annoying. Any advice?

Don't expect to learn it overnight - be patient.  Set small goals for each practice session.  Over time all those small goals will amount to learning the piece.
Made a Liszt. Need new Handel's for Soler panel & Alkan foil. Will Faure Stein on the way to pick up Mendels' sohn. Josquin get Wolfgangs Schu with Clara. Gone Chopin, I'll be Bach

While it's not nearly as difficult as it sounds, it's still by no means a walk in the park. Patience is key here.
