Scriabin: Prelude in E-flat minor, Op. 16, No. 4
on: March 02, 2016, 10:35:42 PM
Hi everyone,

This is my first real recording with video material I've made after making some promotional videos for my YouTube channel. YouTube has proven to be a great way for me to let people hear my own interpretations of pieces. Please tell me how you like this performance and feel free to criticize me so I can reconsider my interpretation in order to make it as perfect as possible.

I will be uploading a lot of videos this month. Pieces by the "greats", as well as my own compositions.

Thanks in advance!

what are you doing w/ your LH in the first 20 seconds, it's a little strange, it moves but you don't play anything?

Reminds me of this:

You should play the whole set.

Yeah I know. It's a habit I've developed over the past few years. It isn't a very good habit, but using the rest of my body whilst playing helps me to control my playing more than when I play without doing that. I figured as long as it doesn't bother anyone I could just go through with it.

I'd try and drop the habit to be honest.
