I'm an american residing in Italy. When I first heard about Trump I thought it was a big joke. Then I started hearing things from intelligent friends of mine in the states who actually, without supporting him, justified his stream of conciousness orations. Now it's getting scary. because it's not just him, it's the crowd that is supporting him. He's been likened here to an upcoming Hitler. A little exaggerated, maybe, but his views are pure demagogue(?). Building a wall between the us and mexico?! People actually think that would solve the problem? These are the ones that scare me. He can say what he likes and what he knows the voters like, that's a normal politician. But when people begin believing him and touting him as a savior...that's scary.
And what is this "carisma" he's supposed to have?! What is it about his looks and speech that draws the crowds? It's true, I've never heard him. Only read the crap he spouts. Hitler, at least, was a first-rate speaker that could rivet the crowds with his first-rate crap. I just don't get it. I'm not a hillary fan, either. but between the two,,,
