The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. It is indeed a flamenco. But I think its very usable for classical. IT doesn't have that bright treble you easily get with flamenco. Perhaps its a bit over-engineered for flamenco!

I believe the woods used are as follows:

Top: Cedar
Back and sides: Spruce (This makes sense as the wood is very similar to by Bosendorfer's soundboard which is spruce)
Fingerboard and Bridge: Rosewood
Neck: Mahogany

The front. Excuse the sad broken string!
