San Fransisco Conservatory pre-college division

So I was directed by fellow music students, and one of my teachers/professor to audition for the San Fransisco Conservatory's pre-college division and that it would be impact my education monumentally and I'm excited. So I looked through the regulations and pre-college handbook and I figured out what to audition with I'm gonna choose Haydn's sonata xvi.60 in c major and Liszt's Pagani etude 4( I just started it and it's really fun to play). I was told that I could easily earn a scholarship to the pre-college so I'm crazy excited/nervous now. But the the one question I have is how hard is it to get accepted.

It is a pity the public schools have abandoned arts training; Or any special training for the talented in any skill but competitive sports.  I received a supurb musical education in high school, on a school supplied instrument,  with private lessons available on my instrument in the band hall for money I made myself mowing lawns. We played a lot of classics, to a supurb levelf of competence in the top band of four.  I thank my parents for researching the options and moving to that neighborhood with that great public school system.  Dad would have made lots more money working in that tiny mining camp where I was born. 
Enjoy your musical education, even if you have to commute to do it.
