Cause he started from the bottom, got his powers, and he's STILL at the bottom!  And all his enemies are like way out of his league but he still flexes them.

Has one of my favorite origin stories. He is a "hero first" on the inside, even before he is powerful. As it unfolds you totally feel for the little guy, and you wonder how it is that he will eventually become one of the greatest best of the best heros.  Episode 1 of my hero academica really sets tye whole thing up well and its funny, in a similar flavor to ne punch man's style of humor

IT BEGINS.

Saitama and the series in general got stale after like 3episodes. would be a better show if they bothered to come up with new jokes instead of rehashing the same material.

the character's concept is pretty cool though, so im with visitor on that one.

I'm not sure anymore.  (And why do we need favorites of everything?)

I read about Superman being a one dimensional character, and now I see that, although the 80's Superman movies had a nice, but dorky vibe.

A lot, like Batman and Spiderman, are kind of emo-ish now.


I'd go with the modern Batman though, Bale-Nolan version.  Mainly because I just watched a documentary about it.  Some of the technology Batman uses isn't that far fetched.  It's a super hero but it represents technology that can be developed and used, developed by real people, used by everyone.

Which is kind of ditto for Ironman, but there's no power source like that.  That's a step farther out there.
