Piano Street Magazine:
Wagner’s Universe in a Pianist’s Hands

One of the most thrilling performances offered at Cremona Musica this year was the Wagner by Liszt recital given by Filippo Tenisci – Italian pianist, born 1998 and celebrated for his refined interpretations and expressive mastery of the Romantic repertoire. After his recital we got the chance talking to Tenici about his Wagner/Liszt project. Read more

Le Gibet
on: April 18, 2016, 05:21:29 AM
I've been meaning to post the entire Gaspard and I had a recording of all three of them in a concert which I thought was really well but I can't find it.  However, some how I managed to sleep walk and post the Le Gibet from the concert on Youtube so this is all I have.  I also have the Ondine from even earlier somewhere on here but I think it sounds shitty so if you wanna look for that go ahead but don't say I didn't warn you.

Also this was back in 2014 so don't give me a hard time

mjames this is all I got for now so deal with it.

THANKS, for expanding my music horizon with this piece. Seems to evoke a sad, gloomy and expectant atmosphere, that never develops or comes about.

FRANKLY, I am disappointed with the BLACKNESS of your video ( no pun intended)!! ;D
I thought, finally I would see the face of the ONE who loved (or still does?) Valentina;
although I had a fleeting face in your Ondine take 2.
You a senior now in music conservatory?

The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more
