Haven't seen a post on this. So here goes. 11 year old wins the CBC's "Piano Hero's Contest", playing Chopin's Ballade #1.

Not bad at all for an 11-year-old. That octave-playing, in particular, although not perfect, is pretty impressive for what must be still small hands. The interpretation is mature.

Speaking of amazing youngsters, here is 12 year old Gavin George playing Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.1;
