Team Captain America or Iron Man
on: May 10, 2016, 09:18:21 PM
But first...

Did anyone else see the Khan vs Alvarez fight?

Dude Khan got knocked out bad.  It looked like a damn video game glitch lol.

Anyways before and after the movie, I'm team Captain America.  I hate Iron man.

Hard not to choose, the movie pretty much made tony stark the bad guy.

Forget about that tho
DUUUUUUDE, what did you think about spiderman?????? HE WAS TOOOOOOOO GOOOOOD
Also, airport scene best scene
Also, best MCU movie villain yet
Also, final act was emotional as fck

Spider-Man?

1.  He's supposed to be a grown man with family and experience in fighting crime.  Not a damn fetus!  The whole reason why iron man wanted Spider-Man in the first place was because he's like the most famous/popular superhero and if he joined the registration act, then all the other superheroes and the general public would hop on the bandwagon.
2.  Aunt may is younger than the freaking Tobey McGuire (however you spell it) Spider-Man!  She's supposed to be an old ass lady!
3.  They finally got the original costume right.  Except ironman didn't give him that costume.  He should've started off with that costume THEN switched to red and yellow one that iron man gave him.  But they're reintroducing him for the THIRD time so I'm not really complaining that much.
4.  He's supposed to play a HUGE role in the story!!!  Like literally the story is told from
The perspective iron man and Captain America.  AND SPIDER-MAN!!!!  One fight scene isn't enough to do him justice.
5.  They made him all CGI  >:( >:( >:(

The reboot better make up for this.

In the comics and the movie Tony stark is pretty much the bad guy.  Team cap ftw

Yeah I liked the villain a lot too.  Cause he was a normal ass dude and has some sort of depth to him besides "mwuahaha I'm evil I wanna destroy the earth".  Even though it had NOTHING to do with the original story I'm not trippin.

The last scene was cool.  But low key he could've just said 'BY THE WAY Bucky was brainwashed when he killed your parents.  It wasn't his fault.  It was hydras' after he kicked iron mans ass.  OR EVEN WHEN HE WROTE HIM THE LETTER!!!  Like Jesus I hate it when people don't tell the truth WHEN IT'S IN YOUR BEST INTEREST!!!  Tell him what really happened!!!  This also had nothing to do with the original story but I'm not trippin.

Lol you're so nitpicky. I'm actually a little bit relieved that it wasn't faithful to the comics because you have to admit, the civil war story-line was kinda stupid.  ;D ;D ;D
Sometimes being faithful to the source isn't such a good idea, especially when it involves two very different mediums.

About Zemo, yeah that's why I also liked him. There's a general consensus among the Marvel fanbase in regards to the MCU villains, a lot of them were just way too poor. I don't blame them though, it really is hard to balance it properly when you don't have that much running time to work with. Besides his depth, Zemo being able to cause the most trouble among the Avengers so far as he pointed out was quite funny, since he is the most "regular human" out of all the villains the main cast face XD
Part of the reason why i'm worried about infinity war is because Thanos is also a "IM A DESTROYER" kindd of villains, so idk how they plan on adding some depth into his character. Do you think they might introduce Death so they can work with his obsession towards her? I think that might be pretty cool. :O

The best thing about the final act for me was just the WinterSoldier+Tony's Parents reveal, I didn't expect that at all. I was all like

 :o :o :o :o :o :o : :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

and then I was like

 :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

and finally i was like

 :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

but then the fight made me go like

 :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o  :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(

Hey I didn't say I didn't like the movie.  Imo I thought it was one of MCU's best movies.  I just don't want another Spider-Man reboot.  We all know how he got his powers and how he deals with his highschool life.  I want a matured fully flared Spider-Man.

As far as the infinity war, are they doing the infinity gauntlet event or just him getting the infinity stones?  Or both?

I think the actual infinity gauntlet event would be hard to do.  Cause thanos literally kills EVERYONE and becomes God (almost).  then the mantle of God shifts around a bit then the REAL God (super God) is like yo you guys need to chill.  And that just sounds ridiculous to make a movie out of it.

Dude how would they do the fight scenes?  There's time travel!  And planets being thrown at people and sh*t!

Wasn't saying you disliked it,
You don't have to worry about another origin story. I think Spiderman: Homecoming takes place after civil war, which is around 6months after peter got his powers. Also the director explicitly stated that Homecoming isn't going to be an origin story. So rest assured...

Exactly why being faithful to comics might be bad. But yeah I'm pretty sure they might downplay it a bit. HOWEVER, I do PRAY that it wont be another one of those

I hope we actually get some real freaking consequences, some major characters NEED TO DIE. But yeah in regards to how it might play out, I'm pretty sure it's confirmed that the gauntlet will be in it, but yeah its power will have to be SEVERELY downgraded if they don't want people to laugh. We also know that cosmic entities will play a role (why were having Doctor Strange) in it too.

Doubt we're going to get the entire team massacred and sht XDDD evil superheroes etc

DC has failed to deliver on multiple occasions, and after BvS I no longer have any faith in them.
I am looking forward to Captain Marvel's Shazam's solo but that won't be until 2019...lol

...Then again the trailer for Suicide Squad looked good....
I'll pirate it first XD

 Ok, my thoughts:

-First, this definitely felt more like an Avengers movie than a Captain America movie. But I'm not complaining about that. I really enjoyed the movie, overall.

-Second, going into this movie I was really struggling to decide whether or not I liked Stark or Rogers more. Like, there was some serious inner turmoil going on regarding this decision. But this movie definitely helped me decide that it's the former (though I have to admit, there were some delightful Iron Man moments contained therein).

-Additionally, I don't really like War Machine. Not to say I'm happy to see what happened to him, or anything. But I find this strange, as I generally like Don Cheadle.

-Overall, I have to say I think Vision is definitely the coolest/most badass. But I have to wonder: What the Hell does this guy do when he's not out saving the world? The answer to this question is pretty clear for most of the other characters, but for him?

-And where did this Black Panther guy come from? I mean, I get who he is and all, but is he enhanced? Or is it the suit? A little more backstory would've been nice.

-Finally: Spider-man? More like Spider-boy.

Quote
The title "Black Panther" is a rank of office, chieftain of the Wakandan Panther Clan. As chieftain, the Panther is entitled to eat a special Heart-Shaped Herb which, in addition to his mystical connection with the Wakandan Panther God, grants him superhumanly acute senses, enhanced strength, speed, agility, stamina, durability, healing and reflexes.[1].

Yeahhh... the problem with that is that the movie doesn't exactly follow the comics.
