Concert Pianists Who Messed Up In Competitions
on: May 18, 2016, 01:34:49 AM
Hi
I have found a video of Irene Veneziano playing Chopin's Polonaise Op.44. She seems to have stumbled around 5:28-ish.

I wouldn't say she completely messed up, but not very good for a pianist.
Beethoven Op 2/2
Chopin Op 20, maybe op 47/38
Debussy Etude 7
Grieg Op 16
Want to do:
Chopin Concerti 1 and 2
Beethoven Waldstein
Ravel Miroirs

Hmm not that I have followed every single pianist in existence but I would happily bet all I owe that there is not any concert pianist in existence who hasn't make an error in concert.

It's hard not to mess up when a duck keeps quacking during your performance. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4hs2cebta6Q
