On the plus side... It sounds nice to not have to think.  You've got someone who's responsible for what you do, how to do it, how to practice, overall plan... You just have to show up and do what they say.

Reason why I don't post in threads such as these is bc of the stubborn adherence to sharpshooter's fallacy , however that's beyond my point , right now I lol at this where do you even find these is beyond my understanding  :D

I don't think anyone on this thread is actually making any serious conclusions based on the article. You're being too quick to throw around a fallacy.  ::)

I agree that the article is pretty crap. No citations (except for the copy and paste pics), no data...just a hyperbolic headline with a few "sad" pictures. Oh god  ::)

Such as a little torture.  Haha.  If someone else is pushy and controlling about your own practicing though, then they're responsible to some extent for it.  So... failure?  It's part theirs.  Success, part theirs, but it will still feel good.
