Opus10no2 (No, not THAT one).......
on: May 25, 2016, 12:16:46 AM
Hey there, Forum,

Could anybody out there help me with this:

Apparently ther's a member on this forum who calls himself "opus10no2".

Who is this guy?

Here are some quotes that I found, quite by accident, on PS, that date from a good decade back (although he seems to have been active on this forum until a few days before I ever even made my 1st post):

'You see music, I see a race course.'

'When a certain level of speed is achieved, musicality becomes irrelevant and it enters the realm of pianistic olympics.'

'You cunt seem to comprend that that physical prowess is more impressive to most people than musical prowess, partially because of the sexual appeal related to physical prowess.

When a female witnesses me play, fingering up the keyboard, giving it a good pounding, with incredible speed and endurance, she often wishes to procreate with me.
This is perfectly natural.

Your post exhudes jealousy of those physically superior to you, infering that you are in actual fact, sexually inadequet.'

 ;D

No doubt, this guy seems to be quite a character.

And who is 'Stevie'??! Is there any connection between Stevie and opus10no2? I seem to recall reading, somewhere on this forum, that opus10no2 and Stevie are actually one and the same person. Anyway, whoever Opus10no2 is, if his playing is anywhere near as good as his sense of humor/literary skills, he certainly is worth listening to. I tried to find out if he has a website in the Member Search section, and guess what it redirects me to??!! none other than the Speed Demon Community!!!!  :o :o :o

Could anyone provide me with a link to a recording or a video of him playing?

Probably is Stevie looking at Youtube channel

I couldn't find any performances worth raising your eyebrows though ;)

Hi, Ronde,

adodd81802 mentioned this link in his reply above:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is THAT the Stevie in question?

It's certainly the forename and surname identified with stevie/op10-2, etc, so I would assume so.

OMG, so THAT'S Stevie/ DaComme???!!!  :o :-\ :P I'm totally srprised to learn that that's the guy that posted some of the funniest and wittiest things on this forum yet........ I actually always thought of him as an Asian-American teenager (don't know why; probably it's because I used to know a 20ish Asian kid who spoke English very well and used to say really crazy stuff, much along the line of Stevie's musings......)

Also, this guy seems to be quite reserved, compared to the asian kid I just mentioned, who was quite a sanguine and rather silly character  ;)

Anyway, this guy plays beautifully, nothing like anything I'd expect from a "Speed Demon"  ;D ;D ;D (although anyone who has heard me knows that I certainly don't consider THAT a bad thing  :D ;D 8) )

Thanks for the info. This place sure has gotten somewhat boring without him, don't you think?!!
