Schubert D960 Paul Badura-Skoda
on: June 08, 2016, 02:42:18 PM
I was wondering if anyone here has the recording where Badura-Skoda plays the D960 on the Conrad Graf fortepiano, Steinway and Bosendorfer (Genuin label).
I am very interested in the differences between these piano sounds and the character of the sonata as a result.

Any comments?
I do not want to just go ahead and buy the disk for its novelty and would be interested in opinions.

not familiar w this but you can likely request the CD via interlibrary loans free of cost for review, i do it all the time w various recordings i am considering or looking into but not buying (either cause i don't want to or because they are out of print)

Can't help you with that, sorry.
But if you do find it - please post it here! Badura-Skoda is such a great interpreter of Schubert's sonatas, it's so fun to listen to his different recordings.
