on: June 13, 2016, 02:53:54 PM
I am planning to play in a piano festival where Russian music is needed. I need help picking a piece. The past couple of pieces i have learned are:
Libestraume- Liszt
The girl with the flaxen hair- Debussy
The pieces i am looking at are
Montagues and capulets- Prokofiev
Mercutio- Prokofiev
Prelude in g minor- Rachmaninoff
Prelude in c sharp minor- Rachmaninoff
Please help!

Thank you :)

And what do you need help for ?

If you played that Debussy prelude and Liebestraum, you can play all those pieces you're looking at. They are all beautiful indeed, but I still do not get what kind of help do you need :)

How many pieces do you need to play ?

Then I still don't get what do you need help for :o You should just pick the one you like most to play for the festival. If you don't know which one you want to play, how will we ? :P

Mercutio > Prelude in g minor > prelude in c sharp minor > dance of the knights

Hardest---------------------------------------------------------------------easier
