Take the Sauter Piano Factory Virtual Tour!
on: June 16, 2016, 04:31:03 PM
PianoPricePoint.com has just released the Sauter piano factory tour. Located in the black forest of Germany, Piano Price Point was given the opportunity to film a 360 degree tour at various workstations within the factory. It really gives you a feel and a sense of how they manufacture these beautiful instruments. You can now look at hotspot still images with descriptions, videos which demonstrate live action and move the camera angle around as if you were visiting on location.
Sauter, established in 1819 is the oldest, continuously operating, family run piano factory in the world. Imagine that in 3 short years, they will be celebrating their 200th anniversary! In a nutshell, Sauter's uncle (in 1819) was Johann Grimm, an apprentice for Streicher ~ maker of pianos for both Beethoven and Mozart. They have been building pianos in the town of Spaichingen since then. Take the tour of the piano factory here:

It's a must see!
