Is L sit harmful?

Hello. L sits puts a lot of pressure at the wrist. Any of you guys are doing this particular exercise?  Is it harmful and should I stop doing it?

Only harmful to the extent to which you have not done adequate movement prep and basic conditioning of the joint.  Durring early phases of conditioning, there will be localized inflamation and some pain soreness even stiffness, that is to be excpected as the immune response is imflamatory mediated and its the healing and eventually soft tissue and long term connective tissue adaptation yiu are after once the structure is sufficinetly strong to support the load the "strain" is not an issue.

think supports for rrinky dink bridge vs  a big beefy reinforced one
 A load on the weak structure will "strain" it amd the same load on the stronger one will not.

you have to be progrrssive and conservative in the loading phase but you also have to be realistic in understanding you arw purposely causing microtrauma to the tissue and structure in order to make it stronger and able to withstand greater forces later withouut injury and strain.

If you're doing L-sits you might be a crossfitter.

Crossfit gives you maximum fitness and maximum injury.  YMMV.

Why not do them with a bar or rings so the hands aren't on the floor (if that's done with hands on the floor)?
