Brahms 2 fingering suggestions
on: August 07, 2016, 03:01:17 PM
Anyone give me a few pointers as to fingering for the F minor passage starting measure 159? The ones I've tried either sound rubbish or hurt my fingers!

The fingering I use at the moment brings out the marcato staccati well, but it hurts my fingers and I was wondering if anyone could offer me any alternatives?

Hi,

Have you tried these? (attached)

I don't find a way to avoid the black key on thumb.... so good luck on Brahms :)

Thank you so much! That's a lot better - I was initially doing 5-1, 1, 1 for the left hand there and that's probably why my left hand hurt!
