     I've been working on this piece by R. Schumann recently. I think it is a really "personal" piece for the composer. Personally, I find the piece so much fun to practice and play. I feel like I am melting when I hear number 14, and can't hold my grin when playing number 12. Schumann actually signed the letters F. and E. for Florestan (active, furious personality) and Eusebius (introverted, dreamy personality); his two contrasting sides of personality, under every single piece. It is obvious that he hid some of his personality in those miniatures...
     So what have you found interesting about the piece if you practiced it yourself or just listened to it? Can this be the musical portrait of the composer himself?
