From what I have read the Better Practice App looks great, and an attractive feature for parents and students for a number of reasons. I'm wondering if anyone is using it here and how you like it?

Also very interested in the Tune Toolkit by Mark Merritt, which is a beginners blues and jazz improv program issued by simply music but also comes bundled with the better practice app. Has anyone tried it?

I have been using the Better Practice App since September. I wanted to experiment with it, so I told my parents I would cover the cost for the first 3 months. Then we would re-evaluate. Well the consensus with my students and their parents is a resounding success! I have students who have never practiced that are now practicing consistently. The students and I communicate through the app, and that has been wonderful. If they have a question they no longer have to wait a week for help.
I am so happy to have found this tool, it has made such a difference for me and my students.

I have also been using Better Practice for a few months now and I'm really happy with it. My students are super motivated and it makes lesson planning and communicating with them really easy. I am enjoying teaching more because my students are staying engaged and the app is an easy way for my students to measure and see their progress.

I recently wrote a review of it on my blog:

If you want to try it out for a month, there's a link at the bottom of the post to get a month for free.
