Hey guys! I am new to this forum. I am just curious about the pieces that you all are currently learning. Here are the pieces that I am working on:

Barber-Nocturne
Bach-Prelude and Fugue in B flat Major BWV 866
Prokofiev-Suggestion Diabolique
Schumann-Aufschwung
Mozart-Fantasy in D Minor
Saint-Saens-Concerto No. 2 in G Minor (1st Movement)

I'm a big fan of the Brahms Rhapsody, a really fun piece of music. Currently I'm learning Chopin's 3rd ballade.

Just finished Debussy's 'Pour le Piano' and Liszt's Liebestraum no. 3 (pretty tacky, I know...)
Just started working on Beethoven's 30th sonata and Scarlatti's sonata K. 198. Thinking about learning the first movement from Ravel's sonatine soon.

My repertoire switches a lot, but I'm working on a few things right now.
I'm preparing the Ravel Pavane pour un infante defunte, as well as the Beethoven Sonata Op. 81a. I'm also working on some jazz stuff for a combo I'm in; most notably Coltrane's Giant Steps.

Long story short: too much chopin. However I am trying to diversify a bit with Schoenberg and Rachmaninoff...

not too much talent, mostly lots of hard work and a tendency to bite off more than I can chew... (Hence 'pour le piano' - the toccata's a killer...)
Haven't been playing for too long actually - a bit over 6 years.

What are you playing by Schoenberg? pretty interested to know, don't know a lot about his different piano works.

Yeah the toccata is a beast imo. I finished the suite like 6 months. The toccata took me nearly a year to master! But it was rewarding. I actually won a piano competition for Swedish people with the toccata! I'm not gonna play the toccata again for a while now
