Sooooooooo... I bought a Focusrite: Liquid Channel off a music producer friend for about $50. I want to learn how to use it and learn all the technical stuff that goes along with. All I know now is that i got a $2000 box for $50. Can anyone explain to me how to use it in commoner language or any advice to get started in learning about sound recording and all that other stuff. Thanks!

I would hardly call that a "recording thingy".  That's a very very high end piece of equipment with a rather specialised purpose.

That said... go here: https://us.focusrite.com/mic-pres/liquid-channel/downloads

and select the user manual for your language...

But if you are new to recording... it's a little like picking up a Porsche 911 as your first learner's permit car...
