Does anybody know how to get a copy of this Ken Russell film ? It seems unobtainable anywhere.

"What does it mean to be a hipster?
According to the Urban Dictionary ; Hipsters are a subculture of men and women typically in their 20's and 30's that value independent thinking, counter-culture, progressive politics, an appreciation of art and indie-rock, creativity, intelligence, and witty banter."
Well I am almost seventy. I certainly embrace independent thinking and take a deep interest in art and creativity. Politics of any sort don't interest me, I'm unsure what indie-rock and counter-culture are and I am useless at witty-banter. Three or four out of nine.
I am a fan of Ken Russell's films though. I know the one about Strauss was not released on DVD because of legal issues with his family. However, Russell himself and Glenda Jackson are in the one on Bax and that sounds very promising, yet it is nowhere to be found and no reasons for withholding it have appeared.

I assume you've tried amazon / eBay etc.? I googled and found this torrent site:
https://kinox.me/Stream/The_Secret_Life_of_Arnold_Bax.html
Could be anything of course, and I rather doubt Bax has attracted 400m downloads..
Iirc he had a romantic liaison with Joyce Hatto (!)

Thanks Andrew, but on attempting to download I just got a pile of advertisements and bogus messages and had to kill the browser. I think perhaps the best way might be to contact the BBC directly and ask them. The film had bad reviews (promising !) and I was just curious. Yes, I have tried all the usual DVD sites. Thanks anyway.
Bax had lots of romantic liasons, Harriet Cohen being the most famous. I didn't know about Hatto.
