on: October 26, 2016, 02:05:48 PM
Dear All,
Where can I find the notes for Liszt's transcription of Schubert's "Standchen" as played for example by Horowitz here:
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have just searched one of my favourite piano websites and I have discovered that it has a piano solo song book that includes Liszt`s transcription of Schubert`s ``Standchen`` amongst many other Schubert pieces. The title of the book is;-
Franz Lizst
The Schubert Song Transcriptions for Solo Piano
Series 111 (3)
The website is

There is also a book on sheetmusicplus.com that has the Schubert song you are looking for, that has better reviews.

You can find a very rough transcription here:

)
Under "Arrangements and Transcriptions".
The better quality ones, I suspect, are for commercial sale.
