Mozart's K.281 3rd Movement Trill Question.
on: November 12, 2016, 11:53:57 AM
Has anybody ever played this sonata? I'm having problems with the measured trill in this particular passage.

I'm using 3,1 (L.H) to trill, as it provides much more speed and comfort. It's hard to join both hands because the R.H takes the G note at the end. Will slow practice get me there? Or should I use 3,2 instead(it's underdeveloped and while take time to get it to speed.)

Mozart's godly trills. :(
Yup.. still a beginner. Up til now..

When will a teacher accept me? :/

The left hand should take the G grace note at the end and  will need to play the next measure of eighth notes as well.

You can keep the 3-1 for the trill.

Um?? Yes, i can see that the grace note at the laat should be played by the L.H. my problem is with the R.H taking a G note from the L.H while trilling..

Thanks for the response tho. :)

K.281 - Updated Question on the L.H Trill.
Reply #3 on: November 14, 2016, 01:37:42 AM
Oops. My bad, I re-read my question and looked at the pic a hundred times. And I wasn't able to comprehend my own question.

I reuploaded the pic to delineate that the trill on the L.H is played on the treble clef.

It's either nobody played this sonata, or someone solved it but is unable to describe it by words. Or the piece is too advanced for me.

To those with experience., how did you handle/practice R.H taking a G note from a trilling L.H(F-G).

I want it to be as clear as possible. Since it one of the main challenges of this piece.

Uuuhhh.. Don't you mean right? And yeah.. How to practice that. Because at high speeds. The articulation diminishes. :(
