The Quiet Revolutionary of the Piano – Fauré’s Complete Piano Works Now on Piano Street

In the pantheon of French music, Gabriel Fauré (1845–1924) often seems a paradox—an innovator cloaked in restraint, a Romantic by birth who shaped the contours of modern French music with quiet insistence. Piano Street now provides sheet music for his complete piano works: a body of music that resists spectacle, even as it brims with invention and brilliance. Read more

Hi
Very well played, but just a thought?  Have you considered retaining more of the original rhythm?  With the repeated arpeggios in the left hand, the swing from the original is lost, and I miss that.
It would be like adapting the Entertainer to the style of Chopin, IMHO... both pleasurable but Joplin's original intent would be lost.

Thanks Dogperson for the comment, I see what you mean and it is true that I have removed some of the rythm of the original (especially some bass) to "classicalize" a bit which I enjoy doing in some of my covers. It may not fit Stevie Wonder's style but more my style of playing. thanks again for checking.
