I listened to a few minutes of this and I think it's an interesting piece.  Interesting title, too, redolent of something that I can't quite get my imaginative hands on.  You have a real knack for "digging" these gems up.

it should sound sorta like something you may have heard before, David includes program notes that this is along and a sort of homage to the golden era of piano, and has some Rachmaninoff like spots.
Thanks for the compli, I came across the piece years ago and started some chatter about it personally with some colleagues around the world. I'm glad and people are starting to re discover it.
